Troop 1325 Attends Wreaths Across America in Darnestown 

On, Saturday December 13, 2025 Scouts from Troop 1325 and from Pack 1199 laid wreaths at the cemetery at Darnestown Presbyterian Church to honor the people who served the nation in all branches of the military.

Troop 1325 Participates in Scouting for Food

 

Troop 1325 Participates in 2025 Scouting for Food Drive

   On Saturday, November 1st, Scouts from Troop 1325 joined Cub Scout Pack 1199 in distributing flyers for the annual Scouting for Food collection. The following Saturday, the Scouts collected donations from community members. This collection was part of the National Capital Area Council's 2025 Scouting for Food event. The Troop and Pack collected several hundred pounds of food from the community. Thanks to all who participated and contributed to this effort. 

 

Troop 1325 Pumpkin Carving Contest

On October 29, 2025, the Scouts in Troop 1325 used their design and carving skills to create unique pumpkins. The Scouts enjoyed sharing ideas and working together. They also welcomed AOL Scouts from Cub Scout Pack 1199 to their annual event. 

 

Troop 1325 at Seneca District Camporee

Troop 1325 enjoyed a fun weekend at the Walkersville Watershed at the 2025 Seneca District Camporee. The Scouts enjoyed beautiful fall weather. They tried their hands at archery, gaga, tomahawk and knife throwing, shelter building, foosball, tug of war, and snow blind among other activities.

Troop 1325 Held a Court of Honor on October 8, 2025

Troop 1325 swore in their new senior patrol leader and patrol leaders and celebrated rank advancements and merit badge completions at a Court of Honor on October 8, 2025. The troop also welcome several new Scouts and their families to the troop. Afterwards, Scouts, leaders and families enjoyed refreshments.

Troop 1325 traveled to Sandy Point State Park on September 12th to prepare for a weekend of service at the Maryland Seafood Festival. The Scouts and adult leaders worked with members of another troop to pick up trash and remove trash bags throughout the two day event. The Scouts also got to enjoy the park, beach, beautiful weather, and music throughout the weekend. 

Troop 1325 Join Scouting Archery Night - September 17, 2025

 

Troop 1325 Welcomes Interested Families at Join Scouting Archery Event on September 17, 2025

Date changed: Please note the original date of this event was September 10th, but we had to adjust the date to September 17th.

Troop 1325 invites interested families to join us on September 17, 2025, from 7 pm to 8:30 pm at Trinity United Methodist Church (13700 Schaeffer Road, Germantown, Maryland 20874) for an archery event. Students ages 11 to 18 are eligible to join and participate in the event. Parents and guardians will need to sign a release form prior to their child participating in the archery event and parents and guardians should stay for the entirety of the event. Students should wear closed toe shoes.
